whoooops

I think I'm going to have to start censoring myself a bit better... someone found this site through a search of my studio and the town, which I think means s/he was actually looking for it... and I suddenly realized that much of the stuff I write here is likely not appropriate for a general audience of people who are acquaintances but not good friends... eeeesh.

Half the time I feel like I'm writing to myself here... but writing to myself as if I were a real audience. The other half of the time I feel like I'm writing for the five people who still read this and are occasionally interested. Zhoop.

Ah well... it depends on what actually constitutes 'found'.

About 1/2 of my friends who read this blog don't have the address memorized or linked... instead, seem to google me when they want to look me up.

Also, I like the idea of strangers occasionally stumbling on it and reading part of it... discarding it, reading for a few minutes or longer, whatever... as long as it doesn't come back to me in the actual world. I guess that's a form of 'found'?

So, I usually try to minimize (remove) search terms like the actual town I currently live in, my place(s) of work, names, and so forth... so it's not traceable to me personally. I have obvious job reasons for that one, although I always try to remain ethical. But I also just like the blog as simple, untouchable place I can sometimes twiddle on, sometimes not.

So... I think I just need to be more careful. :)
